PVpharm is pleased to announce that its CEO, José Alberto Ayala Ortiz, will be among the faculty members of Pre-Conference Training Course 4 at the 25th ISoP Global Meeting, taking place in San José, Costa Rica, from 22 to 25 September 2026. This event highlights all the Pharmacovigilance inspections aspects welcome participation.
The course, entitled “Winning Strategies for PV Audits: Compliance, Inspection Readiness and Risk Management,” will be held on 22 September. It is coordinated by ISoP Latin America.
A practical workshop on inspection excellence
The interactive workshop will examine the planning, conduct and management of pharmacovigilance audits and inspections. Its central focus will be helping organizations maintain compliance with Good Pharmacovigilance Practices, meet evolving global regulatory expectations and strengthen continuous quality improvement.
Participants will explore risk-based audit planning and common compliance vulnerabilities.
It will cover inspection triggers, corrective and preventive action plans, inspection readiness programs and interactions with health authorities.
The course will also address the practical interpretation of Pharmacovigilance inspections and the importance of effective documentation, communication and governance.
These topics are critical for pharmaceutical companies, marketing authorization holders and service providers. Audits and inspections should not be viewed merely as isolated compliance exercises. They are essential tools for identifying weaknesses, protecting the integrity of pharmacovigilance systems and, ultimately, safeguarding patients.
